The success story of the Toyota Corolla reached another level in July when Toyota sold its 50th million Corolla. The staggering number is a testament to the popularity of the Corolla, the best-selling vehicle in the world. Of the 50 million Corolla models sold worldwide, 1,6 million have been sold in Canada since 1969.
The new 2022 Toyota Corolla should continue the success story of the past 11 Corolla generations. The first Corolla arrived on the market with 60 horsepower and reached 100 km/h in 17 seconds. The new Corolla is obviously a fair bit quicker with two engine options offering 139 horsepower and 169 horsepower respectively.
